What's in a name 

Named in honour of aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart, who made history in Trepassey as the first woman to cross the Atlantic by air in 1928, Earhart’s Pub celebrates her bold spirit and deep connection to our coastal town. From the moment she landed in Trepassey Harbour, Amelia captured hearts — visiting local schoolchildren, charming the townsfolk, and even predicting our harbour would one day be a hub for transatlantic travel.

Today, her legacy lives on at Earhart’s Pub. Settle in at our bar crafted from reclaimed timber, sip a Quidi Vidi draught on tap, and raise a glass to adventure. Our selection of local beers, wines, and spirits is curated with care, offering something for every taste. Whether you’re watching the game on the big screen or swapping stories with fellow travellers, Earhart’s is where history and hospitality meet.
